Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | Recently, we proposed an analog network coded amplify-and-forward space-time block coded (ANC/AF-STBC) bi-directional relay for unmanned aircraft (UA) aided wireless relay communications. However, the peak throughput decreases due to the decrease of STBC encoding rate when the number of UAs is more than 3. In this paper, we apply the cyclic delay diversity (CDD) and propose ANC/AF-STBC-CDD bi-directional relay. In ANC/AF-STBC-CDD bi-directional relay, 2 ground stations (GSs) transmit their signals to UA relay stations. UAs are divided into 2 groups and UA relay stations perform group-wise AF-STBC encoding similar to that when the number of transmit antennas is 2. Each UA relay station in a group performs cyclic delay transmission. As a consequence, an arbitrary number of UAs can be used without decreasing STBC encoding rate in ANC/AF-STBC-CDD bi-directional relay. We evaluate, by the computer simulation, the average bit error rate (BER) performance when using ANC/AF-STBC-CDD bi-directional relay and discuss the impact of SNRs at UA relay station and ground station. |
