Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A degraded communication performance for feedback delay has been recognized in MIMO (multiple-input multiple-output) E-SDM (eigenbeam space-division multiplexing) in time-varying channel. The degradation of the performance is different in its degree depending on MIMO reception technique. It is clarified that the degree of the degradation in case the spatial filtering technique is used, for example ZF (zero-forcing) technique and MMSE (minimum mean square error) technique, is smaller than the degradation for SVD (singular value decomposition) technique that decides a reception weight matrix based on the left singular matrix of channel matrix. In this study, the communication performance in time-varying channel of each reception technique are compared in the system model based on IEEE 802.11ac standard. As a result, it is cleared that the performance in case the improved SVD technique is used, whose reception weight is equal to the transmission weight, is better than it in case ZF technique is used, and is similar to it in case MMSE technique is used. In addition, the solution is proposed to improve SVD technique with channel prediction, and the performance of proposed solution is almost equal to it in case spatial filtering technique is used with channel prediction.
