Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) For fifth generation mobile communication systems (5G), in order to increase overall system throughput, ultra-high-density distributed antenna systems have been studied. Resource scheduling controls radio transmission of all antennas in the system. It will be impossible to find the suitable combination of antennas and user equipment within the scheduling period because the number of possible combinations increases explosively. To overcome this issue, we propose a search scheme that decides the suitable combination that achieves higher system throughput with a small amount of calculation. In addition, we devised a hardware that accelerates the calculation of the system throughput for each combination search. The proposed scheme can optimize the combination within the scheduling period. Simulation results show that the system throughput obtained within the scheduling period is about 7.7 times higher than for the exhaustive search. The proposed scheme enables a future practical 5G system.
