Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The zero phase signal analysis is known as one of signal transformations, by which a given signal is transformed into its zero phase signal, which is defined as the inverse Fourier transform of the amplitude spectrum of the given signal. One of remarkable properties of the zero phase signal analysis is that it converts white or impulse noise to an impulse signal at the origin. On the basis of this property of the zero phase signal analysis, Kamamori et al. proposed an effective noise suppressor. We can suppress the noise in audio signals contaminated by both of white and impulse noises without a priori knowledge, such as the power of the noise, by this method. In this method, the operator, that transforms a given signal into its zero phase signal, is assumed to be linear. However, this assumption does not hold in general, which may result degradation of noise suppression performance. In this paper, we introduce an improved version of this method by correction of the zero phase signal of the observation so that the linearlity of the operator is established as much as possible.
