Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Information of people flow in urban city is an important evaluation indicator for urban function, therefore the method for sensing people flow in large scale is necessary. In this paper, we propose noninvasive pedestrian sensing method using Bluetooth. Using short communication range of Bluetooth, we detect devices and estimate the presence of people in close proximity. We evaluate correlation between the number of pedestrian and devices detected as estimation accuracy, and propose the method to improve it. By sensing in urban city environment with high correlation, we prove this efficiency.
