Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In order to get data from much more devices, low-cost and small-sizecommunication method is required to turn various things to IoT devices. A way to know the source of the received data intuitively is required in an environment where several dozens of devices are available. LED-to-smartphone communication is suitable for such communication method because the communication is visible and the only required device is LED. However; there are time gaps in smartphone camera frames which make them unsuitable for high-reliable communications and narrow their usage to limited simple data accusations (such as IDs in augmented reality). In this paper, we have proposed a fast yet reliable communication method to fully receive sent packets in one retransmission by synchronizing intervals of packet transmission with camera frames and configuring total number of packets properly. Our evaluation of the proposed communication method by implementing it to ATtiny10 Microprocessor has shown it can achieve throughput of 1.44kbps with no packet loss.
