Recommendation system of tourist spots using distributed representations of words

Abstract(in English) Web search has been used as a means to obtain tourist information. The Web search is a problem that Web search can’t get only tourist place names or a word you already know. In this paper, we propose a system to automatically recommend a tourist spots from known information such as favorite tourist spots and image of the tourist spots that you want to go. This system recommends the tourist spot in consideration of the user’s input to evaluate the cosine similarity between a vector from the user’s input and feature vectors of tourist spot. Feature vectors of tourist spot were obtained by learning large amounts of information in a neural network. The authors have implemented the recommendation system of tourist spots as iOS application, and evaluated the effectiveness of it.
