Abstract(in English) The authors have developed a visual programming environment: AT, and are operating in classes of programming for novices in some universities and a technical college. Japanese government recently addresses to promote programming education in Elementary/Secondary Education to develop the ability for information utilization. The curriculum guidelines for junior high school and high school, which are published by the ministry of education, culture, sports, science and technology, Japan, also include programming education for understanding measurement/control system and developing problem-solving ability. This work develops some functionalities of AT to offer users intuitive operation on tablet devices and to generate programs for handling external hardware for introducing the environment into Elementary/Secondary programming education.
