Abstract(in English) | In wireless sensor networks constructed by sensor nodes with limited power supply, it is required to extend the lifetime of sensor nodes as long as possible by reducing unnecessary environmental monitoring. The lifetime of wireless sensor networks can be extended by cooperative and adaptive control of monitoring sensor nodes based on shared sensing information among them. However, it is difficult to achieve cooperative processing among sensor nodes for adaptive control of monitoring in wide area sensor networks, because most of nodes cannot communicate each other directly. In this paper, we propose new wide-area sensor network framework for cooperative processing between sensor nodes by constructing the pseudo P2P network that connects nodes via the Internet. The proposed framework can achieve efficient operation of wireless sensor networks by controlling monitoring behavior of sensor nodes adaptively according to the change of node-state which is shared among nodes via the pseudo P2P network. |
