a Cooking Recipe Suited for Beginners

Abstract(in English) We carried out two experiments of the new cooking recipe to investigate how to increase the understanding of beginners, the efficiency of cooking, and the satisfaction. The first experiment examined how movies that helped users to grasp the whole process of the cooking and voice (auditory) advises that were constructed with the "cause and result" pattern affected the understanding and the user experience. As a result, the movie increased the user experience and the acquirement of practical skill. The voice advice with the combination of the movie enhanced the understanding of the cooking process and most increased both the understanding and the user experience. The second experiment used a voice interface, which read out a recipe and was operated by voice. As a result, the voice recipe shortened the cooking time, especially for when users cannot use their hands to operate the system.
