Interaural level and time differences by parametric loudspeaker

Abstract(in English) Based on the Khohklov-Zabolotskaya-Kuznetsov nonlinear equation and successive approximation, parametric sounds scattered by a cylindrical and spherical rigid objects are theoretically analyzed for investigating Interaural Level Difference (ILD) and Interaural Time Difference (ITD). The two objects model a head of a human being. To examine the usefulness of the present theory, we carried out experiments using 1 kHz parametric sound s. Experimental data and theoretical results are in relatively good agreement except for several points. For further appropriate comparison, we need to go through the present theoretical approaches and re-formulate experimental environments.
