Abstract(in English) We are studying a satellite broadcasting system using 21GHz-band (21.4-22.0GHz) to provide higher realistic sensation services such as UHDTV and 3DTV. Assuming a large transmission capacity in the 21GHz-band satellite broadcasting system, we consider allocating two 300MHz class wideband channels. In this study, we conduct wideband transmission experiments over a proto-type transponder for 21GHz-band broadcasting satellite. We report the performances over the transponder at low, ordinary and high temperatures in a vacuum.
