Abstract(in English) Today, opportunistic networks have been attracting attention of many researchers. In opportunistic networks, user terminals carry and share information by relay not via base station but via nearby user terminals by using Bluetooth and Wi-Fi Direct when communication infrastructure is not available. It is important for opportunistic network simulation to use mobility patterns close to actual use cases because they determine arrival rate of contents. Therefore, in this paper, we evaluate epidemic routing and COIL in opportunistic network according to different mobility patterns using Random Way Point, Levy Walk and Homesick Levy Walk, where the latter two can give more realistic mobility patterns than Random Way Point. The evaluation results show performance characteristics of cooperative information sharing methods due to different encountering characteristics.
