Abstract(in English) Near-infrared photodiodes for Si photonics are fabricated using Ge epitaxial layers on Si grown byultrahigh-vacuum chemical vapor deposition. Current-voltage characteristics and spectral responsivity are reported. Growth processes are discussed to realize higher-performance photodiodes.
