Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, a design method for IIR ( Infinite Impulse Response ) filters using PSO ( Particle Swarm Optimization ) is developed. In our previous work, an avoidance method of local minimum stagnation has been proposed, in which a penalty function is added to an objective function when the stagnation occurs. Then, it is important to decide an appropriate value for an additional width of penalty function. In this study, the width is decided a gradient of objective function at the beginning iteration. Then, the smallest value among them is chosen, and the width is fixed to the value after the iteration.Several design examples are shown to present the effectiveness of the proposed method.
