A Study of Predicting Rating Score from a Movie Review Text

Abstract(in English) We tried some methods for predicting rating score from a review text posted in a movie review website. For this prediction, we selected special words such that the number of occurrences of each word in the review text is closely related to the rating score. According to the number of the special words in the review text, the prediction is practiced employing a linear discriminant analysis or neural networks. We studied the difference of accuracy of predicting results of each method and some schemes.
