Abstract(in English) The percentage of the power consumption of communication occupies in the total power consumption in smartphones become bigger in recent year, therefore it can't be ignored subject. Thus the power saving communication is very important in extending the operating time of smartphones. However, almost all existing power saving techniques have focused on only base stations and single terminal relationship, and it makes difficult to further saving power. To overcome this problem, we propose a completely novel framework of power-saving communication based on cooperation and linking of neighboring smartphones. We performed fundamental measurement experiments on power consumption and mobility, throughput as a previous stage. As a result of the experiments, it become clear that the power consumption when staying at the stations is bigger than traveling in the JR Yamanote line area. On the other hand, in rural area, it also become clear that the power consumption of rural location which located far from the center of city is bigger.
