Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | Odors are recognized by animals through detecting the structural information of odorant molecules. Therefore, the structural information of odorant molecules is vital for distinguishing odors. In this study, a novel odor sensing device which combined with molecularly imprinted polymer (MIP) and chemiresistors had been developed to distinguish odors by the structural information rapidly. Firstly, ink combined with MIP and conductive materials was prepared to adsorbed target odorants. Secondly, chemiresistors were made by the ink and comb-shaped electrodes to distinguishing odors. The results shown that the template molecules was selectivity adsorbed by ink-MIP, and a good response had been detected by the chemiresistors. It indicated that a sensing device which could both recognize molecules and transduce electrical signal simultaneously was successfully developed. |
