Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this article, we provide explanations about measurement methods for speech production system including electromagnetic articulography (EMA), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and laser Doppler vibrometers. EMA can track multiple sensors attached on speech articulators in real time and MRI can obtain cross-sectional images of body on arbitrary slices. The laser Doppler vibrometers enable optical-based non-contact measurement of the vibrations of measured object, and have potential applications of voicing state estimation.
