Abstract(in English) | The elderly monitoring system is one of promising systems to support the home care of people with dementia. In the previous systems, however, the personal adaptation is difficult and the correspondence is limited to alerts to human users. To achieve more personalized home care for people with dementia, our research group studies environmental sensing with IoT to measure various values within the house. In this paper, we especially focus on anomaly detection andcorresponding care, and propose a service that allows individual users to customize definition of anomaly and corresponding actions. Specifically, borrowing a mechanism of context-aware services, we regard every anomaly observed within the house as a context. We then define every care as an action bound to an anomaly context, which achieve personalized anomaly detection and correspondence. To demonstrate the feasibility, we implement a prototype system and conduct a practical case study. |
