Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The magnetic stimulation is the way of stimulating the nervous and excitable tissue non-invasively by the induced electric fields caused by a pulse electric current in the coil and is an established technique in clinical neurology and rehabilitation. However, the focality of the stimulation is still unclear. In this study, we used a commercial software, PHOTO-Series EDDY, for the transient-response analysis of the motion magnetic field was soft and evaluated the induced electric field distribution for the cerebral sulcus. In addition, we examined the directionality of the electric field for the nerve axon in cerebral cortex. It is suggested that the nerve axon which a gyrus and the cerebral sulcus side could stimulate in an existing nerve axon is different.
