Fundamental Experiment for Position Estimation of Transmitting Antenna

Abstract(in English) In order to verify the estimation method of the position of a catheter by using the unbalanced fed ultra low profile inverted L antennas, the amplitude and phase of S parameters are calculated and measured at the frequency of 2.44 GHz. Three receiving antennas are located on the surrounding of the transmitting antenna. The distance between the transmitting and receiving antennas is from 40mm to 100mm. S21, S31, S41 characteristics are measured by using a network analyzer.
