A Consideration on Numerical Analysis of Human Exposure by the Intermediate Frequency Band Wireless Power Transfer system

Abstract(in English) We examined the relevance of analysis based on quasi-static approximation to evaluate internal electric field induced by magnetic field from a wireless power transfer (WPT) system operating at intermediate frequencies. The WPT system investigated in this study consists of a transmitter coil located in the vicinity of legs of a human body. It is shown that the secondary magnetic field due to current density induced by the incident magnetic field is negligibly small at frequencies below 10 MHz. It is also shown that summation of induced electric field due to incident electric and magnetic fields provides a good approximation of the solution obtained by a full-wave analysis by FDTD method.
