Abstract(in English) The polarimetric scattering characteristics as a function of incidence and squint angle dependence remain a very complicated problem for detection and identification object. This point is true for application of ship detection, especially for a linear trajectory SAR system. In order to reveal scattering characteristics, it is required to investigate wide incidence and squint angle effect. This paper reports the experimental result of polarimetric scattering measurement for the simplified ship model using CSAR which has an advantage of imaging capability from various angles. Using the Four-component decomposition in the spatial frequency domain, we verify the polarimetric scattering characteristics of the ship for wide incidence and squint angles.
