Abstract(in English) | To realize a surface emitting light source of 1.3μm-wavelength band, we developed a Si integration process of 45 degree mirrors based on dicing technique. We integrated the 45 degree mirrors into SiOx optical waveguides on a Si substrate. Far field pattern (FFP) of optical output from the mirrors were measured to evaluate its beam quality, and we confirmed that high quality single mode beams can be obtained. Optical loss penalty of the integrated mirrors was also evaluated and it was less than 0.6 dB over a wavelength range of 1260-1360 nm. Polarization depended loss penalty was also less than 0.6 dB. |
