Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Since SDN (Software Defined Network) separates control plain and forwarding plain, an administrator easily can modify the control plain. To operate commands defined by the control plain, an OpenFlow switch searches in the flow table with conditions and their actions, etc., and then does one of the actions for an incoming packet matching a condition. The OpenFlow version 1.5.1 added MFT (Mul-tiple Flow Table) which is the pipeline method with multiple flow tables. However, if the table size becomes larger, the matching speed might be decreased. This paper proposes a high speed flow table matching method using multiple flow tables separated by protocols to match their entry in parallel.
