Abstract(in English) A cavity-resonator-integrated guided-mode resonance filter (CRIGF) consisting of a grating coupler (GC) and a pair of distributed Bragg reflectors (DBRs) on a transparent substrate shows a narrowband reflection spectrum with phase variation for an incident free-space wave of a small diameter. In this paper, a complex reflection coefficient is expressed in terms of device parameters by combining the temporal and spatial coupled-mode theories. It was found that the reflection phase variation depended on the thickness of waveguide core layer.
