Abstract(in English) In medical education, volume rendered images are used to learn the human anatomy. However, it is not easy to understand the complicated organ structures such as the bronchial structure from volume rendered images. Therefore, several researches for displaying anatomical labels on volume rendering images have been conducted to support the organ structure learning. Although we have also developed the automated method to display bronchial names on the virtual bronchial wall, the method generated deteriorated rendering images such as anatomical labels shown beyond the wall. The paper tries to solve such problems by controlling the position of a text character by character.
