Transmit Power Optimization for Tree Networks Employing Data-fusion in End-nodes

Abstract(in English) In the preceding works on the tree networks composed of binary symmetric channel (BSC),the error probability of majority decision at the fusion center is found to be almost constant regardless of a network size. This constant property of error probability has been explained with signal-to-noise ratio (SNR). The relay nodes are assumed to have the same out- put power. The system SNR is expected to increase by improving the power allocation for all nodes. In this paper, a new approach of the power allocation is proposed, and the proposed method is shown to be effective to improve the system SNR performance.
