Abstract(in English) | In recent years, not only information and communication devices such as personal computers and smartphones but also various kinds of things will be connected to a network. However, with realization of Internet of things (IoT), machine-to-machine (M2M) traffic is expected to increase rapidly. Therefore, a congestion control technique will become more important. Transmission control protocol (TCP) which is a protocol of Internet has a cogestion control mechanism. The TCP detects packet loss and/or time-out, and adjusts a window size. Recently, cooperative congestion control of TCP congestion mechanism and active queue management (AQM) in switches and routers has been recommended. In the AQM, a packet drop probability is adjusted, and the queue length is controlled. The AQM realizes stabilization of throughput. Nowadays, various kinds of AQM scheme have been proposed. In particular, an AQM controller using a disturbance observer (DOB) can compensate the variation of network parameter such as the number of TCP connections and the inflow of non-TCP flows, and has high robustness. This report investigates the effcts of the multistage imlementation of AQM controller using DOB. |
