Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) As elderly people fall down and break a bone caused by locomotive syndrome, there are cases they are led into bedridden and it may be shorten a healthy life expectancy. The exercise function is connected directly with a brain and the neuro-modulation function. And this part of brain function can be inspected by checking this exercise control function. In general, there is a method to observe the standing position posture balance of the one leg or both legs for dozens of seconds to check the exercise function. This paper describes about the device which could measure this standing position posture balance experimentally. This one has characteristics monitoring physical drift between a center of head (COH) and center of gravity of foot pressure (COF) for elderly people and visualizing the movement trace of the COH and COF. We have analyzed posture balance quantitatively and expect possibility of the early detection of the locomotive syndrome.
