Abstract(in English) | In this paper, Digital Color Shift Keying (DCSK) is considered, which represent the symbols using multiple multi-color LEDs to avoid the effect of LED non-linearity in Color Shift Keying (CSK). In DCSK, the variation of optical intensity can be represented with the total amount of non-varying intensity of multiple LEDs turned 'ON', so optical signal can avoid the impact of LED non-linearity to communication quality. Moreover, in this paper, the Bit Error Rate (BER) performances of DCSK and conventional CSK are evaluated by simulation analysis considering not only LED non-linearity but also the arrangement of multiple multi-color LEDs. Consequently, the BER performance of DCSK of 64-ary using 4 colors LED is better than CSK by 7 dB compared with conventional CSK. |
