Abstract(in English) Radio wave radar can be used without the rain, at night even during performance deteriorated compared to the camera and sensors. Therefore, if shown the possibility of pedestrian identification by radio wave radar, it is beneficial also for the future of automatic operation system. When identifying a pedestrian, it is difficult when the object is at rest. However, if the state in which the walking movement, it is thought that than is possible to estimate the characteristics due to the periodicity. In this paper, it is shown that is measured by using a UWB radar creates a condition related to the locomotion of the human, an effective means in the pedestrian detection by considering and comparing the acquired data.
