Abstract(in English) Broadband characteristic in 60GHz to 300GHz wave bands is very effective to realize high-speed communication and high-precision radar applications. This technical report presents CMOS chipsets for multi-gigabit wireless communications in 60 GHz band and phased-array radar applications in 79 GHz band. Furthermore, it describes 140 GHz CMOS integrated circuit designs and a preliminary study of 300GHz transceiver systems as future challenges toward Terahertz era.
