Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Medical expenses are increased by modern social issues (e.g. low birth rate and an aging population and adult diseases). To avoid these problems, medical diagnosis for early detection is necessary. Conventional microwave measurements are used reflection wave. Reflection method is underqualified for detecting deep inside target information. In this study, to examine detecting inside human body information by microwave transmission method at three layer human model, low loss dielectric ceramic is used as bolus material for impedance matching between human body and an applicator. The sensitivity improvement by microwave transmission method is discussed.
