Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Traffic accidents by the electric wheelchair have become social problem. We examined interactive personal agents which understand the state of the user, and provide support and aid the user depending on the situation as a driving support method for operating a safer electric wheelchair. In this paper, for realizing the function of providing driving training corresponding to driving skills in personal agents, it describes the driving skills estimation techniques. It indicates that the driving skills can be quantified from the running locus information by minimum jerk model. And we verify the difference in the driving skills between running patterns and between subjects. In addition, it is shown that it is possible to estimate the driving skills with high accuracy by utilizing the various sensor information mounted on the electric wheelchair.
