Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The terahertz region is called the boundary which lies between the microwave range on one side, and the optical range on the other. In addition this region has several physical phenomena showing this is a transition region. This article introduces some examples of the phenomena and considers physical meanings for them to develop new practical decices and applications of the terahertz region.
