Discussion on the evaluation of squat training by muscle synergy and principal component analysis

Abstract(in English) Since training relays on subjective judgments such as fatigue, it is difficult to understand the effects and situations of training. We try to reveal the change in muscle activity during squat training with the muscle synergy, and propose a method that could estimate the training situation. Concretely, estimating the muscle synergies from SEMG measured at lower limbs, we attempt to quantify the training effect by principal component analysis of the weight coefficients. The results showed that the first principal component score could represent the training effects.
