Indoor Power Delay Profile Modelling Considering Diffuse Scattering Process

Abstract(in English) Power delay profile (PDP) is one of the key indicators for designing wireless systems and previous researches has shown that Sabine’s acoustic equation under total diffuse scattering scenarios provides a simplified model to predict the PDP inside rooms. However, inaccuracy can be seen for predictions within early reflections region. In this study, we proposed a method to use the in-room PDP model by Holloway that uses mean-free path to calculate power after multiple reflections, to predict delay profile within that region and combine with Sabine’s method to provide an overall indoor PDP prediction.
