A Study of Distributed Coordinative Contorol among Access Points in Unlicensed-LTE

Abstract(in English) We propose the radio resource allocation method to avoid interference among APs in Unlicensed-LTE(U-LTE). CSMA/CA(Carrier Sense Multiple Access/Collision Avoidance), which is recently planned to be used when operating U-LTE, can’t give better service for users when UEs are too many. In this paper, we discussed the algorithms to allocate radio resource to APs in a distributed manner without using CSMA/CA, taking hidden terminal problems into consideration. When a new AP is added into existing APs, updated AP MAP and resource allocation information can be transferred using conventional LTE channels. The proposed method provides high spatial radio resource reuse and stable operation by removing collisions with CSMA/CA.
