Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | Most of Hospital acquired Infection are caused by a microbial pollution on body surface of medical staffs, contaminated medical equipment, patient itself and so on. Under these backgrounds, in particular, many medical equipment using for treatment and examination of patients are maintained by the clinical engineer in ME center. On the other hand, several medical equipment moved around the hospital, and it moved between different patients. From this reason, most of medical equipment were treated with several disinfectants at the first step in maintenance itself. These maintenance procedure not only killed bacteria but also make a damage for medical equipment. In this present report, the authors conducted an examination to compare the removability of bacteria by the disinfectant treatment and tap water wiping during routine procedure in ME center. |
