Abstract(in English) It is necessary to estimate the channel state information coherently to equalize the received signal in wireless communication systems.When the channel estimator uses pilot symbols known at the receiver, the pilot symbols degrade the transmission efficiency because they need the signal spaces and the energy.In this paper, we assume a fixed microwave system in which the channel, whose time-variation is very slow, is in line of sight, and propose a new blind channel estimation method without the pilot symbols for OFDM systems.The proposed estimator makes use of the Expectation-Maximization algorithm and the correlation among the channel frequency responses by considering the assumed channel environment.By computer simulations, we show that the proposed estimator can asymptotically achieve the bit error rate using the ideal channel estimate.
