Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We have proposed fiber-optic relaying to improve cell edge performance, and have discussed the design methods. Especially, we have investigated the degradation in performance against a self-interference between the backhaul and access links when inband relaying is used under the condition that two links operate simultaneously. In this paper, we show the theoretical results of the degradation in performance against a self-interference in both downlink and uplink, under a practical layout model such as the distance for eNB-RN and eNB-UE. We also evaluate the interference performance as parameters of carrier frequency. From these results, we conclude how to design a fiber-optic RN to meet an acceptable DUR.
