A Proposal of Cascaded Hammerstein Digital Self-Interference Cancellation Algorithm

Abstract(in English) In-band full duplex (IBFD) communications are spotlighted hence offering enhanced spectral efficiency. However, it is necessary to mitigate the self-interference (SI). In this study, we propose the cascaded Hammerstein digital self-interference cancellation algorithm based on the parallel one. The proposed method reduces computational complexity of RLS adaptive algorithm than the conventional method. In addition, it can be easily designed to an optimum filter because of high flexibility. To demonstrate performances of the proposed method, we generated a pseudo-SI signal by using USRP. As a result, it is shown that a well-tuned cascaded filter has higher convergence and lower complexity than a conventional parallel filter.
