Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) There are approximately 30 million visually impaired people in Japan. Their jobs are usually a massager or anadministrative work. Especially for the administrative work, it is necessary to gain their IT skills. To study the skills, they oftengo to a kind of living support centers for the visually impaired people. However, there are only a few support centers and alsothe centers are mostly around the metropolitan area so there is a disparity among regions. Therefore, we construct a study supportsystem on their study of IT skills. The system will help visually impaired people to study even though they are at home. Inaddition, it will also support the supporters to implement comfortable support for visual impaired. The system consist of a studysupport WEB site and applications to study basic computer skills.
