Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We have been studied parallel transmission systems using fiber-ribbons for a purpose of ultra-high-speed network in future. In this report, we focus on multimode fibers (MMFs) for a use of short distance transmission such as local area networks (LANs). In real environment, non-uniform stress may be applied to a fiber-ribbon and its effects on group delay variations. To improve the accuracy for the previously measurement results, we report experimental results of group delay variation under stress by the measurement method using two wavelengths simultaneously.
