Abstract(in English) We report the influence of high-power optical transmission on 4-fiber MPO connectors. We investigated the relationship between splice loss and the connector adapter temperatures when the input power per one fiber is 0.1, 0.3, and 0.5 W. In addition, we show the connector conditions after the high-power transmission compared with the results of SC connector when the dust is attached or is not attached to the endfaces of connectors.
