Phase Measurement of Millimeter Wave based on Unlocked Electro-optic Detection Technique

Abstract(in English) We propose a new system that can measure amplitude and phase information of electric field without external locking between the transmitter and receiver at 75.6 GHz. In this paper, we demonstrate a proof-of-concept experiment and confirm that the accuracy of phase measurement with standard deviation is 2.7 °, and that it is almost agree with theoretical value of 2.5 °, which is limited the by signal-to-noise ratio.
