| Abstract(in English) | Medical devices have been shifted from standalone devices to the ones that work together with other medical devices incorporating medical IT system to satisfy various clinical needs. They are recently used in the different environment from hospitals, such as home care, nursing care or disaster prevention bases. Therefore, there are greater risks to their security. So it is becoming increasingly important to manage the cyber-security features in medical devices themselves. This article clarifies cyber-security issues in medical devices and introduces the baseline approach to ensure sufficient security by referring to the activities related to the international standards in IEC and ISO. |
