ICT utilization for disaster management

Abstract(in English) In this paper the author focuses on the importance of ICT use of disaster relief support groups that accelerates decision support in disaster management. The author conducted a survey to clarify how disaster relief support groups use ICT. The results suggests that, 1) ICT is less likely to be used in operations which requires advanced ICT skills, and 2) The main obstacles for ICT introduction is the lack of personnel with sufficient ICT skills.
